I am a little late on posting in the blog but I'm excited to say that I have been accepted in the college program! Last year I applied and was pended but in the end did not receive a spot. Pended basically means that you are not rejected nor accepted and that they are looking for a spot that would best fit you if one becomes available.
I had the phone interview about two weeks ago and they basically ask questions concerning the role you applied for. My interview started out with just asking simple questions like if I had tattoos and if my hair was dyed or had highlights. Then after that the NUMBER ONE question you should know is "Why do you want to be part of the Disney College Program?"
Since I applied for the QSFB (Quick Service Food & Beverage), they asked me if I had ever had to deal with a difficult customer and what did I do to solve the problem. Other questions that they asked regarding QSFB was...
1. Do you work better in a team or alone?
2. Can you work long demanding hours?
3. Are you capable of lifting boxes?
4. Do you prefer to work at a slow pace or fast pace?
5. Can you be able to stand on your feet all day?
Other things that were talked about during the interview were the descriptions of the other roles that I applied for.
As a note for anyone who is applying for BBB (Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique). The position is very competitive and if you would like to be able to work there, some work experience in a beauty parlor is helpful. Unfortunately I have no experience, so I was only asked one question and we quickly changed the topic to QSFB.
